Working Arrangement:<\/strong> On-call basis only. There are no guaranteed working hours. Work is offered as and when customer call-out jobs become available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the Role<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are looking for a confident and experienced Field Engineer to undertake customer call-out visits involving computer hardware, software, applications, networking equipment, printers, and routers. The role involves attending customer sites to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, install, configure, and maintain a range of IT equipment and services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a commission-based position where payment is made per completed call-out job and service provided. It is not a salaried or full-time position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Duties and Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Attend customer premises to carry out IT support and field service call-outs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Diagnose hardware and software faults through troubleshooting and testing procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain computer systems and associated infrastructure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Perform hardware replacement and component upgrades where required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and software applications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Detect and remove viruses, malware, and other malicious software.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Configure antivirus and security software to help protect customer systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Troubleshoot and resolve networking, connectivity, and internet-related issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Support the installation and configuration of printers, routers, and related devices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Maintain accurate service reports and records of completed work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company procedures and customer service standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Skills and Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Degree-level education, relevant vocational qualification, industry certification, or demonstrable equivalent experience in IT support or computer engineering.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Familiarity with computer architecture and hardware components.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Ability to work independently and manage field service assignments effectively.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      • Backup and restore solutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          • Sunday: 10:00 am \u2013 04:00 pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
